Getting on with Danish

Active use of the Danish you already know in a safe and supporting online environment.

Become brave and confident – step by step.

Increase vocabulary.

Understand basic grammar.
Listen to soundfiles. Count successes and progress.

Getting great with Danish

Fine tuning: You are already confident with basic Danish.

You dare to use the Danish you know and are able to ask for the learn-Danish support you need.

We practice everyday dialogues and increase vocabulary, courage and selfconfidence.

The Community for getting great with Danish – with Ease

is the place to be for you who, together with other learners, want to

• practice Danish

• focus on your successes with Danish

• study Danish on an ongoing basis

• commit on focusing on learning Danish in at least 8 minutes EVERY day.

By joining The online Community for getting great with Danish- with Ease you are invited to

• give and get support on the(your) learn Danish-journey

• share successes

• ask questions

• be serious – and playful

• find ways to connect with other members as study-buddies or accountability mates online or in “real life”

The Community for getting great with Danish – with Ease

is also the “place to be” for you who understand, that mindset is of importance.

You might fx want to understand that if you think “it is hard” – it will be hard!

It you think that you can not learn Danish – you will see prof of that etc.

When you dare to “give yourself a chance” by thinking:

I can do it

I am counting my successes

I keep on keeping on

I love learning Danish

I dare myself to speak, listen and understand Danish

plus more supportive and encouraging thoughts, your learn-Danish-journey will be one – with joy and ease.

AND: Yes, there is no quick-fix, but keep your focus on WHEN you experience “a quick win” of any kind.

The Community for getting great with Danish – with Ease

is the space, where we support each other in being able to learn, understand and USE the Danish language plus be able to cope in the Danish society including interacting with friends, neighbors and colleagues – in Danish.

And, if you have children, then with their friends, and their friends parents plus teachers etc., too.

You are welcome in the community:

• When you are eager to share your process of learning Danish – preferable with ease.

• When you want to experiment with your mindset by for example thinking:

• I can do it, or

• I am getting into a steady study habit, and

• I love to encourage and get encouraged. And/or:

• I (ad your name) am open to the possibility of succeeding with being able to understand and speak Danish. (And even write!)

• When you want a place where you can ask anything about the Danish language.

Membership

of The Community for getting great with Danish – with Ease

is by invitation only, and it is a requirement that:

you have been a privat paying student with Birgit Månestråle, or
you have been a member of The Community for getting into Danish with Ease, or
you have been a member of The Community for getting on with Danish.

Hereby you have proven to yourself that:

you are into a steady study habit of collecting words and phrases, of importance for you every day or regularly plus have practical experiences with sing your Personal Learn Danish with Ease Dictionary.
Having, or wanting to develop, an adventurous attitude to the task of learning the Danish language, which include that you “want to exchange” in interaction with the rest of the participants in the Community – is a plus.
Be supported and supporting.

Could be a small thing like joining the game whenever someone invites to write words with a certain theme, word or letter in the alphabet.

Could also be to express your view on a learn-Danish-resource or to help by sharing your experiences and encouragements when a fellow-learner ask for advice or knowledge.

The Community for getting great with Danish – with Ease unfolds within a privat Facebook group. In that safe space you can ask anything about the Danish language and more.

By participating in the privat Facebook group of The Community for getting great with Danish – with Ease you also have the possibility of searching a study buddy or a group of people that you can arrange to meet up with in order to be acquainted and in order to support each other on the learn-Danish-journey.

If you for example are learning Danish via a certain book or resource, then others may want to use the same book/ resource, and benefit from the questions that you ask, as well as you can benefit from questions and sharing in general from others.

The Community for getting great with Danish – with Ease is the place to be for all serious students who primarily want to learn by selfstudy and enjoy the connection to others who are dedicated to follow through until they master the Danish language in a degree that is satisfactory to themselves.

Besides the above benefits you have me, Birgit Månestråle, as your learn-Danish-lifeline and community facilitator.

The vehicle by which we communicate is mainly writing. Plus:at least 4 x 40-minute online lessons per month, where we focus on USING the Danish language.

Further more, you are welcome to ‘raise your hand’ in order to get at wish fulfilled:

The online sessions will be with focus on ‘non-stress’ = with ease.

Learning sometimes includes a lot of small important details, and we will give space for all of them + train in being patient with ourselves and each other.

Meet ups in ‘real life’ amongst the participants on specific topics or to introduce oneselves in Danish or a mixture of Danish and English, listen to succes stories with Danish plus have focus on mingling and connecting as study buddies is a possibility, too.

The online group meetings will be carried out as online calls via the platform Zoom.us. will last approx. 40 minutes and participation is possible by accepting an invitation in which you shall – just – click on a link. Surveys in the Facebook group of The Community for getting great with Danish – with Ease will decide the time slots.

Important note:

The Community for getting great with Danish – with Ease is a subscription group.

To participate you pay DKK 550 every month until you unsubscribe by sending an email to info@learndanishwithease.dk – in which you clearly indicate that you want to opt out of The Community for getting great with Danish – with Ease.

When you opt out of the community, your prepayment will not be refunded and your payment of the subscription will stop 30 days after the date you opt-out.

You can also decide to pay quarterly = DKK 1.425.

The Community for getting great with Danish – with Ease is the place to meet, when you want encouragement and a community in which you can share your successes with the Danish language AND where you can ask anything of importance to you.
